Support Ticket System

So a customer has approached me to add a Support Ticket system to their site. Been looking around and OSticket immediately pops out except for the fact you can't easily add varying fields to the support ticket, which is a must for my client.

Now i've looked around and I can hack/alter the code and add some new fields but i'm not happy about it.

So, can anyone recommend any other Support Ticket system?

Had a look at OTRS, looks good but I was hoping for more of a PHP / MySQL solution. Something I can install on the website, they then login and it's all nice and simple.

Kayako, looks a little overly complicated for what they need and to be honest I don't think they'll pay for. Personally I think they might be over estimating their need for a ticket system.

It is looking more and more like I'm going to have to adjust (hack) OSticket.

Any more ideas would be appreciated.
