Supreme Commander clan/team?

I had to leave my computer at the house I've moved out of. :(

Once I build my new one I will certainly join up with you.

I can join but only with Forged Alliance, Don't have the original any more...
Never played MP with gpg.net though so will have to make an account etc, I assume this won't take too long ?

It's actually fairly easy to pick up, this supplemented with maybe voice comms and we should be sweet.

If you google "supreme commander forged allegiance strategy guide" there's a fair few links that will talk you through the starting build order and tactics.

If we get a good bit of interest and can get something going regularly i'm more than happy to shell out for a ts or vent server. I know the one we had for the ocuk wow guild was cheap as chips.

I know how to play it I'm just saying I haven't played online with gpg.net, I have played mp with hamachi though before :).

I'll need to reinstall my FA I think as it says critical files damaged/changed when I try to play FA online with gpg.net .
On a more positive note, since the last time I played it, I got a quad core now, so it should keep flying even in the late game :).

That was the same as my problem when I originally played single core and sc not good!

I've been playing some ladder recently, it's just rough as each map has very different expansion options and you have to tailor your build accordingly, I do feel i've been making progress though.

I really do miss the organised 2v2's I used to play with friends.

I wouldn't want skill to be a major factor for this, just some chilled friendly games, best way to get better is practice anyway! I wouldn't like to think I or anyone would crack up at you if we don't run round owning everyone we meet.

I'd be up for this as well. I think someone should just start a new ocuk clan in the gpgnet thingie. There is an old one but i haven't seen anyone online in it for best part of a year.

i'll be happy to do so, although it would be a laissez faire type setup would want to be competitive, this would have course be at each individual players discretion of course. Nothing would ever be mandatory.

I'd just be in it for friendly matches once in a blue moon. Not particularly a competative player at all.

Ditto :) I am awful at competitive play, I simply can't keep up the pace required for decent online 1v1 matches. Be very interested in doing a co-op vs the CPU though.

So, I have to say I'm interested in it now :p, I'm going to reinstall & patch my game now, hopefully make it work for multiplayer...

Jow are we going to communicate to organize stuff ? I don't even know how gpg yet works, does it have a buddy system where you can track/follow players ?
MSN ? Xfire? Steam? Just the forum ?
