I'm borrowing Supreme Commander off a mate and i tried to install it but my machine can't read the disk. The Drive just keeps making the same noises and eventually ejects it. As far as i'm aware the drive is okay, it's read everything else i've put in it. The disk is in good condition and my Dad's XP laptop read it without a problem, I say XP laptop because i'm using Vista. What could be the problem here?

My sister had this issue when trying to install it on a second PC, can't remember which drive was in it but it simply refused to read the disk. Try another drive if you have one, and if not then get one - SupCom is definitely worth another £15
