supreme commander fa ai problem!

i love this game, but feel as theirs something wrong with the ai. when playing An offline skirmish, 3 hours into a game with aiX rush (which i thinks the hardest setting??).. this is all the defence the ai had....



4 xps!?? i remember playing a game of supreme commander and they had like 20/50 xps

This game i had air units off, navy off, long range artillary off and nukes off, hoping they would build a fck load of xps, which for some reason isnt the case!! just a stupid ammount of tech3 gens, does this seem a bit dodgy to anyone else?
 
The AI is suited to different maps, in other words its likely just the map it cant handle it. The AI in FA is much harder than Vanilla.

oohh yeah i see

only probs is i dont like playing on maps any bigger than 10x10 because it just slows performance right down!!! Im hoping one of them new quadcores coming out early 2008 with some ddr3 ram might help out a bit
 
Seriously? I can play the biggest maps on my system (in sig) with max settings and even 2xAA and it's fine. Sure, it can get slow when there are a crazy number of units, but nothing unplayable. Is everything else playing OK?

yes its still playable, but i am VERY picky with smoothness. and i like to increase the speed to max 10, which doesnt happen on a big map after 2 hours in-gameplay
