Supreme Commander problem

I did a fresh install of SC recently, and updated to the 3280 patch - which seems to have broken the game. It throws up a video error saying my card doesn't meet the system requirements (Geforce 7900) :confused:

Anyone have any ideas? I did some searching around but found nothing related to problems with this particular patch.

I'm using the 175.19 drivers in XP 32-bit.

There haven't been any (to my knowledge) Directx 9.0 updates for XP since late 2007...which is whats on here.

If you have two monitors, make sure one is disabled when you run supcom, then enable the second one in game and enable it out of game after.
