Supreme Commander - Spec check is it pointless?

Is it pointless me getting the demo for this game nevermind the ful version due to my spec?

Mabook Pro

2.16ghz C2D
2Gb PC-5300
x1600 mobility

Main screen @ 1440X900
Secondary montor @ 1280X1024

I take it the gfx card will take one look and go to corfu on holiday?

mostly CPU/ram intence
gaphics scales quite well

don't expect AA/AF etc but its gonna be ok anyway

yeah AA/AF is all off on any game I play

I shall report back, might do the benchtest also

since you have a good cpu and ram you should be ok, just have graphical settings to minimum and set AA/AF off.

runs fine with all gfx turned off, looks pretty naff but runs nice and smooth, however dual screen is a nono it crawls along at lowest detail also.
