Hey guys, was just wondering (how many threads do I start with that lol?) is it worth spending the extra to get an EK Supreme HF Nickel Plexi over the LT version? Going for a beasty overclock :)

The HF will give u the best temps for sure, but the LT is'nt bad at all, keeps my I7 nice and cool.

Its not a bad little block for its cost, i chose it over the HF as i wasn't going for pure performance.

Cool, cheers, I'm probably gonna go for the EK LT 240 kit from a "special" company then, should be quite nice ;)

Have a look at the XSPC Rasa 750 RS240 WaterCooling Kit, from the same place, its £5 cheaper but comes with the Rasa block which is up there with the HF block.

Both kits are good, the Ek's has the slightly thicker rad then the Xspc one, The only problem with the Xspc kit is the pump/bay res is a dual bay one so you may not have the free space, but if you do, its the kit id go for.

If u don't have the space for that bay res, then the EK kit is spot on.

Sweet, may have to for that then :) didn't really like the smaller res on the EK one...

Do you you reckon I could add a 360 radd and 2 gpu blocks at a later date? Cheers mate for your help :)

Yeh as they are kits built from from separates, its easy to add to them at a later date, so no worries there.

If that is a future plan the pump in the xspc one would be the better option then as its more powerful then the Ek one.

Fantastic :) I'll link you to my project log when I get it, will give you a mention, now to get modding my phantom :)

I was looking at benchmarks and there seems to be less than 2c in it. Also I think the LT has less flow resistance nad is a fair bit cheaper :)

Yeah seems so cheers :) shame xspc don't do a clear version of the rasa, would be rather nice contrasting with my phantom in black though :)

My single bay version has been going strong for the last year, iv had more expensive pumps fail on me too. No pump u can say 100% won't fail, its luck of the draw.
