Supremem Commander Resolution Issues.... HELP!

wonder if someone could help me, i have just installed supreme commander after owning it since release, the issue im having is my PC runs through a 720p HDTV so runs at a max resolution of 1280x720, if i run the game in 1024x768 it auto sets the refresh rate to 30hz, any way i can add a custom resolution to the list to allow me to run the game in 1280x720
