Surface Pro 3 image

I'm having a bit of trouble we changed domains at work and now we cant access some surface pro's. No one knows the local admin password or it has been disabled.
I am having a try with hirens to see if we can get in that way. Otherwise its a factory reset which tbh would not be that bad.
Is it best to use the https://www.microsoft.com/surface/e...ervice-and-recovery/downloadablerecoveryimage the surface recovery image or download windos 8.1 from our licence key

Get the recovery image, this should include all drivers etc.

Just buy ActivePasswordChanger. Its well worth the small price to avoid factory resetting.
I use it for exactly the same situation you are in right now.
