The company I work for are looking to bring in MS Surface Pro 3's. Lots of the workstations we have use 3x monitors. Has anyone else had experience of getting this working? For a new device, this seems quite an expense/challenge!
They want to dock the Surface Pro 3 and then have 3 external monitors. They wont need the Surface PRo 3 screen itself at this time.
So far all I've found is:

Which seems massively expensive. Are there any other alternatives?
(Note: Surface will be in a docking station which will be on each desk. I'd prefer there to be no cables to plugin to Surface itself, just leave whatever adapters plugged into docking station.)
