Surface pro 4 deal...too tempting?

I'd be surprised if SP5 is somehow better in any meaningful way compared to SP4.

For previous iterations there was always something "wrong" with the old so there was always something to improve, but current versions are pretty good as they are. It is difficult to find much to complain about them, other than maybe the prices.

Things that I'd want: 10bit colour display with DCI-P3 / AdobeRGB colorspace + HDR support and properly working colour management in Windows. Other than that better specced fanless models for cheaper, but I wouldn't hold my breath on either of these.

hmm i might buy it. apparently all the problems have been solved on them.

I would have the surface book..but stupidly you can't buy a high spec with out the dgpu which I would have no use for personally.

its a lot of money still, but 1299 seems like the best I've seen for the i7 16GB 256GB plus keyboard and 3 year warranty.

I'm still rocking my M18x (which I don't carry anywhere, just leave it at work on my desk). I might get a £200 for that if i sell it I guess too.

One useful thing they could change is the bezel size as the SP4 (and HP Spectre x2) looks a bit clunky compared to the Dell XPS12.
