My Surface Pro 4 has stopped turning on. It worked fine a few days ago and now just won't do anything. The charger works and lights up when connected to the tablet, but it still doesn't power on.
If I hold down the power button and one of the volume buttons simultaneously I occasionally get a battery image pop on the screen then it goes off.

I've tried to go down via Microsoft's repair route but the process asks to install a Surface debugger...but the device won't even power on so that kills that route.

So, is there any chance of getting this repaired? If so where and what's the likely cost?
Cheers!

They are a sealed unit. Making it impossible to repair.

Once you take the screen off it's never the same again. That's if you can even get it off. Usually break them trying to get them off as it's glued and sealed.

So if you accidentally drop one you cannot just replace the screen like you would with another laptop.

Basically if you cannot get it working it's maybe worth ebaying to someone who might be willing to take the risk on being able to fix it. I looked into it but was advised better to buy a new one.

Microsoft themselves list the cost as £568.80 so would be cheaper to just buy another one.

As above, they're fairly difficult to repair. You're likely going to have to factor in the cost of a new screen too as you generally need to sacrifice it when opening it which will bump the price up.
