Surface Pro type colour black/grey?

Just got a new Surface pro with "black" type cover bundle, however its distinctly grey!

All the marketing photos make it look jet black... so have I definitely got the right cover in the bundle? or is this potentially an older one?

I've got a black one and i'd say it was more dark grey than anything. The photos showing a jet black one are all lies and trickery
