So i'm looking for a laptop, I want it to be fairly quick, One requirement i have a that it has a good screen for working form home remotely.
I do a lot of multi window stuff which is a massive pain on my Samsung NC10 with a 1024x600 res :O

As far as I can tell, There is absolutely nothing sub 600 quid that can touch the Surface Pro 128gb for all round spec at £439.
Does that sound right or can anyone see anything better?
 
I'd say it was covered above but in laymans terms:

Decent processor, i5 or the like
Snappy enough for desktop and web browsing
Gaming not important, if anything it will be minecraft
Screen is importnat as it needs to be a bit better than 768p imo, Due to the working from home requirement and using a lot of windows at a time.
 
Looks great, but it seems like the only thing you get for your 230 extra ish is a better battery? Unless i should be able to find it for less than 660?
 
Other thing im wondering is if the Surface 3 is around the corner and what its effect on the Surface 2's pricing will be...
