Can I ask what is recommened regards surge protection for your PC?

Simple questions:-

Is it preferencial to have a dedicated Anti Surge device for your PC & Monitor or is it OK to plug in Speakers & Router etc ?

Any paticular make of anti surge unit recommended ?

Thanks in advance
Syd

I make sure that whatever is surge protected is totally isolated. So if you also have a network cable, that gives a path to the PC. So surge protect the network connection too.

Anything physically plugged into the PC should be surge protected. So Speakers, USB devices if using external power etc.

Or am I being way too anal about that :D?
