My flat suffers from quite a few power surges. The electric is also always cut of at least once a year for about 10 mins before coming back on again.
I understand a surge protector will not stop my computer and equipment from switching of when there is a power cut, but will it protect it from exploding when there is a power cut?
Reason I ask last time I had a power cut my PSU fried up!
Also, would a surge protector with a telephone socket protect my router that is connected to a telephone line.
Do you rate any surge protectors highely?
