Surge protector

Hi,

I wondered what a surge protector like this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=UP-007-BE would be like?

It covers you for £100k, but does the thing actually last? I've been told that after a while the surge protection 'runs out'?

Also, has anyone got any idea of the basic terms and condition of the £100k insurance?

Yea, I'd love to get a UPS for my new PC, but can't really afford it right now. I think I'll make it one of the things I buy after my PC
