Surge Protectors

Hi there,

Do any of you utilise surge protectors?

I am wondering whether the one I got is up to standard as I have just upgraded
is it worth investing in a decent one?

I use a belkin 4 port one. Insured to £75,000. Cost me £10 well worth getting one.

If you want something to save power (money) when everything is switched off as well, look for the Intelliplug, got one my TV, etc and its pretty good. They also do one for computers.

Well I think I should invest then! But I would need at least 6 sockets I reckon 10 would be ideal!!

Im using a Belkin PureAV surge protector. Big bulky 8 socket version. Been running 2 high power computers and ps3 on it for a year or so without issues.

always worth getting a surge protector for any electrical appliance really. get one built into a multi plug adaptor and off you go!

I got this one from flea buyer it is a 6 way plexor one with 6 ports
dont know if it is any good though.
