Would you be happy if your partners purchased you a new case as a surprise or is this something that actually you would prefer to be your own choice?
I want to get my partner a new case his current one is the type that looks like it will last forever and it weighs a ton! http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cases/2007/10/02/hiper_anubis/1
It has a heatsink-like set of ridges on the roof.....they just fill with dust and the hoover or blower doesnt get it out! The panels on either side now rattle when the pc is on it drives everyone insane and the door on the front no longer shuts and the ports on the top are hit and miss.
He sat and complained about it so I though it might be a good idea!
I have a newer pc a customised cooler master case which I love and was thinking along the same lines. I am on a budget but I honestly do not think he would spend more than what I would spend which would be up to around £150 though not sure he would spend more than £100 as he is more concerned about what he can spend on the inside. I am going to try bare in mind that he may wish to upgrade the components inside it at a later date so would think of the future too. Any recommendations?
TIA
