Surprise from 2006

Just been going through all my stuff and came across my PS3 box which was bought in 2006 on release, I had a original Ethernet cable looked on the side and was a cat6 and about 2 metres. Was surprised by this as surely the cost of that would have been quite high in 06? Not sure.

Also where is the Ethernet cable in my PS4 box? would have been handy having a good quality one in the box like with the PS3.

Any one had a surprise like this?

Not really, it's just slightly thicker copper.

There was no Ethernet cable bundled with my 40GB PS3 that was bought in November 2007.

Yes as bledd says its to the right. But I did think it wasn't bundled with a 40GB model.

Just noticed on the box it says 60GB so this is why it's there.
