Has anyone had an unexpected Recovery Partition show up on their Primary Drive since Windows 10? I clean installed W10 when the Anniversary Update borked my install. Since then it's run fine, with Creators Update being more successful than the previous one. Haven't thought to check Partitions for a long time, but today i noticed this extra 'Recovery' Partition at the end of my Primary Drive that has been created since Creators Update.
Not a problem in itself, but the damn thing has been created in the previously Unallocated space that was being used for Over Provisioning on my Samsung SSD. With the new Recovery Partition in place Samsung Magician Software was unable to do anything about OP and my Drive has been running without any! Deleting the new Recovery Partition allowed Magician to do it's thing and recreate some Over Provisioning space for itself.
This is a self built machine and i installed Windows 10 on it. I haven't created a Recovery Partition myself and would never need one!
