Hey everyone, I was hoping you could tell me what I would need to allow surround sound to my Xbox 360 & PC now that I'm getting a monitor to replace my 32" HDTV.
My previous (to be) set up was simple, Xbox 360 & PC connected by HDMI and surround sound from my Logitech Z-5500 into the TV's Digital Optical port, this allowed 5.1 for both 360 & PC.
For Xmas I'm being generous and giving the HDTV to my mother for the living room, and buying a Samsung T240 24" monitor to replace it (if you know better at a good price let me know) and I'm in a bit of a pickle at how I can connect my 5.1. The 360 will be connected via HDMI and the PC DVI, but the monitor has no sound ports nor Optical Out so I'm led to believe, is there an adapter I could get, or am I going to have to look for an alternative set up?
