Surround sound just buzzes

Please help me this is a last resort. It stopped working and my dad doesnt know yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jamo DVR 50. was playing mp3 from Xbox 360 and sound cut out to buzzing. wasnt playing it at a very high volume.

using erm.. A305 Jamo speakers.

the box outputs sound via analogue to the tv ok, picture comes out of all outputs and still plays dvds and cds, but the speakers jus sit there buzzing even when muted!

Disconnect all sources, remove and reinsert speaker cable. Switch it on, does it still buzz?
