I would like some feeback/advice on the best wasy to set up a surround sound system when the floors are solid wood.

what I mean is if you have satalite speakers how the heck do you cover the wires, my wife wont allow me to have to many wires showing in the room and doesnt want them trailing over doorways etc so how the heck do other peeps get away with it or manage to disguise them.

say I had a sub and 2 front and 2 rear speakers and they were wall mounted would that be the best option or is there another alternative.,

Please give me some ideas of what you have done to disguise the wires.

Heres hoping ;)

Or run them behind the architrave / skirting board.

If you're going to chase them through the wall, rent a proper machine - it makes life so much easier.

if only mate if only it would cost me a fortune !

as for chasing them into the walls that would be a good idea if I hadnt had the brain wave of re skimming the walls only a month or so ago :(
