Got an email from dhltracking services today telling me that they were unable to deliver a parcel and to collect it from their local depot. There was an attachment that gave the parcel details but it was an application. MS Security Essentials picked it up as a Trojan so be careful if you are expecting a parcel.
I should have known straight away as DHL should not have any of my email addresses

Get your point but I waiting for three different items to be delivered and it is easy to be caught out when you are as impatient as I so I thought I would give the heads up to anyone who is not naturally suspicious ;)

I get these all the time, i just delete straight away if i'm expecting something then the person/business sending it will have already provided me with the tracking number.

Why would a courier email the recipient at all? That should have been warning enough.

At work we use parcelfarce to deliver our packages to customers and they have a facility whereby we can enter the customers email and/or mobile phone numbers and the customer will be notified by parcelfarce themselves when their package is winging its' way to them.
