Suspicious to me I guess.

Recently a new build received with no anti virus few Google searches alarmed me.

I'm running Windows 7 with a Gigabyte Z97X Mobo reason I mention this incase it's some sort of feature but within process I have a Application called Form 1 and another application called Homecloud could someone clarify to me what these are?

Everything safe!?

Can't confirm much without knowing what the processes are for ... Right click on the processes and open location ... Will take you to its directory ... You'll be able to judge what the program running is .

Run malwarebytes , as long as Windows's defender is up you should be fine

None appear in remove programs.

Google search shows - C:\Program Files (x86)\Gigabyte\CloudStation\RemoteControl\grckm.exe

:\Program Files (x86)\Gigabyte\CloudStation\HomeCloud\HCLOUD.exe HCLOUD Microsoft 1.0.0.0 15596

Full scan of Windows defender and nothing has been found also virus scan and nothing found.

Sounds like bloat ware/ software from a motherboard installation disk/driver ... Won't do any harm , might use resources , look up in startup programs in the task manager and disable it on boot up . My new board comes with cloud software , I just install drivers only direct from the site to avoid there crap

Chuck your motherboard CD in the bin.

Format and start over, install the most minimal driver set you can.

IE..

LAN
Chipset
Intel ME (if applicable)
Graphics
Sound
USB3 (if applicable)

Get them from the chipset manufacturer's websites.

does sound like something that has been installed with motherboard drivers.

done a quick search and came across this website

http://www.gigabyte.com/MicroSite/369/images/networking.html

it maybe this that's on the PC and came bundled with the motherboard.

if your are not too sure just format the PC, re install windows and get the individual drivers from the website for what you need as then its just the drivers you need and nothing else

Indeed, sounds like it. As suggested you can stop it running or uninstall it manually. No need to format and start fresh. If you are worried, just install Anti-Virus like Avast along with Malwarebytes and run a full scan with both (one at a time).

if it doesn't appear under the normal programs and features then see if there is a uninstall exe in the folder you can run to remove the software.

Edit:

After un-installing Gigabyte App Centre Form 1 etc does not appear in my Task Manager.

Gigabyte had app like Fast Boot etc, Will any of those have effected my system speeds or would I have needed to set them up.

Im guessing this has left my entire set of drivers for the chipset alone right is there a way to check my drivers are intact?

Personally the only software I installed for my Gigabyte board was the on/off charge. The other Gigabyte software looked like bloat so didn't bother with them.

Alright sweet.

Well the process's have gone by un-installing.

Everything is running fine, So will leave it at that!

The Gigabyte App Centre will never make it's way back on this PC for sure.
