I have a Suunto Vytec DS and I have installed the new DM software but its not connecting to my dive computer ... and ideas ??

Did it work on the older software?

It did work but i have not had it connected to this PC also i dont use the Suunto cable its a thirdparty one that worked fin on my windows XP system but i have lost the SW for it and asumed that the USB cable would be fine ... i might order the Suunto cable and see if its that.

Try it with the original Suunto cable and report back.

Sorry this has taken ages to sort my cable out ... but I can confirm that DM4 with the Suunto cable works perfect with my Vytec

I haven't downloaded a single profile since about 2005

Battery went flat in my Aladdin and that memo mouse you interface with to transfer the dives was the most temperamental bit of hardware I've ever used..

NEVER AGAIN.
