SVGA Wiring

It worked!

However, there is a but...

the picture has a blue tint to it. I'm guessing there is a short somewhere in the soldering. Any ideas where to look? I have visually inspected them all and I can't see anything out of order.

Thanks for getting me this far... would really appreciate any help with getting rid of this blue tint if you have any pointers.

Cheers,

ICE
First off, it's going to be one of the coaxials, red?. If you can't see anything, then I sorry to say you need a multimeter. You will need to buzz em out (that's an extremely technical term for check continuity) each core and screen. Check each is the same resistance. Then check each for shorts to each screen and each other and the main screen.

Legend!

Somehow the the red core and screen where touching (I think the insulation on the red core must have melted while soldering). I re-stripped and re-soldered and now is working perfectly.

Thanks again. Now all I need to do is recreate the same but with the real thing - I have been testing the wiring with a short section on a desk up until now. At least I have the wiring configuration sorted!

Thanks again for your on going help.
