Of course it will be, till we get 100/100mb broadband as a minimum, real-time/active combat will only be possible in instanced games (See Age of Conan)

I don't think we will see Massively Multiplayer Online RPGs for a while.

My entire old SWG guild and myself are all salavating at the prospect of this game.

Every single one of us will be there on release day and hopefully beta stages

Hopefully bioware dont do something very odd and just go off the rails, it has the potential to be massive on a WoW scale.

I scanned there official site the other day and cant wait for this, Its almost dejavu all over again as i remember reading every piece of info on Galaxies before it came out and i seem to be doing the same on this. The Dev diaries are also worth a watch on GT.com

Dark Age of Camelot, Eve Online, Planetside....

It's perfectly do-able, instancing is just taking the easy way out, and everyone seems to be doing it these days.
