Swap Drivers with GPU?

Hi all,

I am running an 8800GTS 640Mb atm (brilliant card btw!) and have drivers etc for it.

Now, i came across an old 8800GT 512mb for a very few quid, and they normally sell for more (mispelling on the bay )

So, i bought it, to resell. Thing is, i wanna test it + bench before i sell it on, as i've heard reports it's faster than what i am running now. Also, need to check it works before reselling!

So, when i put it in my PC, do i need to remove the drivers from my 8800GTS first, then re-install, thn uninstall for the GTs to go back in?

Or will it be ok to leave them as they are?

while it will work fine most likely, best to uninstall and reinstall them. Its not faster than yours though, it is faster than a 320mb edition, but yours and it are basically the same overall.
