Swap Sigma 10-20mm for Canon 100mm macro

I'm selling my Sigma 10-20mm lens as it's far too wide on the 5D being full frame but would love to have a go at macro photography so I was hoping (as they're around the same kind of price) that someone might want to do a swap/part exchange for the Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro lens?

Hmmm. I am asking for a Sigma 10-20mm for Christmas but don't think I can afford it yet.

I don't have the Canon 100mm macro myself, but I have the Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro which is very good - don't think I will be selling it though as I do love this lens.

How was the Sigma on the 350D? I'm not sure if it will be too wide on my 350D or not.

What about the new Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro, Equates to a 105mm on aDSLR (Nikon)

a 10 - 22 is deffo not too wide on a 30d (1.6x)

I however feel sick now. A Sigma 10-20 was just sold by some crazy fool on t'bay for £65 buy it now. WHY DIDN'T I SEE IT!?!?!?!?!

There's a photo I took with the lens if you follow the for sale link in my original post which was taken with my 350D at 10mm. You'd be surprised how close I was to the cats nose!

£65 for the Sigma! Someone did well out of that!! :eek:
