SWAPGS. New vulnerability to affect A.....

Gonna ask though.... Anyone know of any real world cases that actually exploited these flaws? I mean... Having a rag stuffed in your fuel cap and no one lighting it isn't a good thing, but has anyone actually exploited it yet?

They wouldn't tell you if they did. It's the kind of thing governments exploit. No hacker is going to bother with this when they can tell you to click a link in an email instead.

The chips have been successfully attacked, weaponized exploits? yet to be seen but we don't fully know all the vulnerabilities of Intel chips yet.

Nothing is secure for me if some other guy built it he knows more about it than me. I am still running a 2yr old build from before the creators update. And the pc is perfect 2us idle latencymon clearly proves i am ok.

Who is going to want to hack my gaming pc, Maybe they want to snoop on my gaming habits because i moved away from using it for anything but gaming. This is the best way now use the phone and apps and download all the resource hungry stuff on the phone.

The issues that come from having insecure systems readily available to attack is the problem. It's what else comes from having large numbers of easily accessible systems, like a compromised bluetooth connection from your phone to your PC or the compromised system taking control of your router and diverting the phones traffic.

Given the raft of remote execution vulnerabilities and privilege elevation exploits patched in recent Windows 10 updates I can't really recommend running older builds any more - if the malware authors bother with them you are as wide open as unpatched builds of XP.
