put it back in your original case and try it, may be a short circuit, and make sure you've put in the switch/hdd lights correctly and all that.
Static damage is pretty unlikely IMO.
When I press the power button The CPU fan spins for a split second the stops. Nothing else seems to spin or work.
I have a green light on my mobo p5q pro and new case is antec 300.
I counted 10 mobo standoffs and 9 screws. Realised antec had pre installed some. So stripped out all out and tried again. But removing the extra standoff.
Same deal. Checked connections.
Where do I start
Help please![]()

if it's any help i would give you my q9450 it's not in use nor has it been in use for a while.
Not very "pc" I don't know what that is lol. I know it's a CPU of some sort. Trouble is I am skint.![]()
Bringtherain, have you taken eveything out of the case and built it all up on a table without using the new case at all? i.e. Skeleton build with minimum components?
Yup. Done that budwas out of the case from say 8pm last night.
I am guessing it's the mobo.
But what are the chances the ram,SSD and GPU are dead as well?
What ever I have done. Would it kill the those as well?
