Im swapping GPU's from a Sapphire R9 280X Toxic to a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780Ti WindForce 3x OC.

Could i get away with just uninstalling the R9, cat drivers and removing it in Device Manager or would you recommend a full new installation of windows?

I went from AMD to Nvidia same card as you and you wont regret it at all, aka i just re-installed windows from an image i created with all windows updates installed but no drivers. And i have my games on a separate drive to save having to download them all over again.

Run Display Driver Removal :D Much better than anything else out there.

I ran this before and it stopped usb ports working, wouldnt then let me install the new drivers and caused other probems. Fresh install from my image and all was well again, use at your own risk and i have seen other on OcUK say they have had problems with it too.

Never had any issue like that, Been using for very long time now. Did you report it to the Dev?
Maybe a conflict between the program and your Chipset.

Don't use it with Windows 8, it corrupts a lot of the power plan features. Driver Fusion is the way to go. Very handy little app.

I would just uninstall drivers, shutdown, swap cards, boot and install new.

If get problems then tinker with those programs
