swapping hd7970 xfx core edition for r9 280x sapphire dual x

Hi guys and gals

As the title suggest is it worth swapping my 7970 for a sapphire 280x dual oc version? I am able to get one fairly cheap but am unsure whether to do it or not. Sorry if post font is large as am posting from my phone haha

No they are essentially the same card. The main difference is the brand and cooler. Performance wise if you set them to the same clocks you would get identical performance.

Ok thanks man thing is on the catalyst control manager the 280x can be set to a higher clock then my 7970 I know it's basic overclock but I don't know how to overclock it through afterburner
