Swapping in a GPU block

I like the full cover blocks but prolly could use my existing (but ugly) MCW60 to start with and then swap in a sexy EK.

My question really would be: What would be the best way to swap out these?

1. Taps before and after the card (problems with leaking and trapped water?)
2. Full loop drain
3. Anything else?
