Swapping out 360's without transfer cable

Hi,

I'm getting my new 360 slim delivered on Monday. I'm hoping not to buy the transfer cable... How do I just re-download my few games that I purchased? Or do i have no choice but to buy this darn cable?

Just recover your gamertag on the new box, go into the account options, find the downloaded content list and redownload each item.

You'll then want to use the DRM transfer tool on xbox.com.
