Hi,

I purchased a QE50QN90C a couple of weeks ago and I hate it.
Interface is clunky, it doesn't play network media natively, it loads up Samsung TV+ every time it is turned on, and the apps available are limited.

I have £900-ish to play with.
The alternatives I have been looking at are:-
LG OLED48C24LA
Panasonic TX-48MZ800B
Sony BRAVIA KD55X85LU

What say you, OCUK ?
Pro/cons of the above options?
Anything other models I have not considered?

Cheers

The answer is of course OLED. The C2 destroys either of those.

If you're willing to go second hand you can get 65" CX for 600-700.
Cheers for the info.
65" is too big for the space we have.

The C2 has been the favourite suggestion so far, but a new contender has entered the game.

The TCL C845 has been floated by Dodgexander over on AVF.

Any views on that?

Swapped out the Samsung for a C2 yesterday morning.

The difference is incredible.
Software is decent, picture is great out of the box, it just works.

Cheers for the info.

Wish I read this before I bought this tv…. I got three other Samsung TVs in the house and the interface was great with the apps displaying at the bottom when pressing source … however this TV has a new version of software and I can’t seem to find how you pin apps to the bar when pressing source…

please don’t tell me they removed this feature as the interface was one of the best things about Samsung TVs, but this version seems shocking and borderline unusable
