SWAT4 + Expansion still going?

lo all, thinking about buying the gold edition of swat 4 that comes with the expansion. Just wondering, does this game still have the online player numbers?

Ill be buying it anyway, its my type of game.
 
It's a really good game, multiplayer is a lot of fun. But I haven't played it in a long time. It's full of cheaters and kids who go around team bleeding. They game has never really been that popular anyway. I remember even when I did play it, during certain times of the day the server were all pretty much empty.
 
Swat 4 was cool... just ** ai teammates were too sissy! rules of engagement be damned the guy has a gun shoot him dont wait for him to open fire! I used to kit everyone out with beanbag shotguns, and shoot everyone within site, terrorists, hostages, everyone got a shot into compliance.... but ** teammates only shoot when under fire, which usually means the first of them is lying dead on the ground

umm dunno why i felt like saying this, tis a good game :D
 
Great fun, we used to play it at mini-LANs. I was famous for boucing grenades off stuff so they landed at our feet....

Then there was the classic 2 of us searching for the one last bad guy..

Me: "oh I've found an unopened door"
Mate: "me too"
Me: "going in.." (open door, see someone with gun pointing at me, so I instinctivly shoot them a few times)
Mate: "That was me you idiot..."

PK!
 
Theres still quite a few online servers going, not many proper co-op ones though, everyone is using the pepper paintball gun which, as a primary weapon for a swat team member is pretty stupid. If someone even points a gun at a member of swat they get shot, not pepper sprayed.

Anyway, offer is still open for some propper co-op if anyone wants, xfire: nieldo

Also is there anyway to C2 breach the door, flash bang and then clear the room when you have confermed the door is unlocked?

It is a bit girly yes but u get a better rating if nobody dies... although i always prefered the beanbag shotguns to the pepper spray myself
