The line that jumped out at me from this story however was not the fact he had a 13th wife, it was moreso that he imposed a law that banned sexual relations with girls younger than 18.

Just two months after imposing the ban, the king fined himself a cow for breaking it by taking a 17-year-old girl as his ninth wife.

Can you imagine if we had similar fines over here? I've don't know if I'd be able to get hold of a cow
