Sweet Potatoes

Hello

I've bought some sweet potatoes & as I've never had them before, I need some of your culinary know-how!

I was thinking of roasting them.

Firstly, will this be OK (i.e. will they taste nice).

Secondly, do I just need to treat them as a normal potato?

They tend to mush a bit more than ordinary spuds. They will taste lovely roasted though, especially with a bit of garlic. They're also lovely mashed as a change to normal mash.

^^ That's what I'd do.

I really like roasted sweet potatoes, carrots, fennel and any other veg with couscous and raisons. Mmm.

Do you mean with the garlic or mashed?

Edit, I could do both really, one mashed & one roasted. Woooh, the possibilities are endless!!
