What's your personal opinion on this Yewen? I'm thinking about it.

Personally I think they are great, look a lot more expensive when you have them in your hand.

The menu is not quite to Apple standard but its easy to navigate and responsive.

The back is a silver colour and makes it look very similar to a first gen Ipod Nano which I would say the sound quality is on a par with. If I did not have a Gen2 Nano I would get one of these over it, the saving on price + me using mine in a loud area makes this superb value. Also no Itunes.

I have a Sweex keyboard

I'm tempted by this, it seems very cheap for a good capacity player with a screen etc.

What is sound quality like compared with say an ipod? and what are the supplied phones like?

The headphones are not the best and the only real thing about the Sweex which suggests it does not cost £60-80. For the price it is on a par with what you would expect, invest in some £6 branded headphones and you will be laughing.


Superb buy for the money, from the amount we have sold it is fast on track to becoming our most popular MP3 player ever!
