Swift starting to die ?

OK I have one of these

And over the last week it's been flickering on and off and random times , I got it B-Grade about 3 years ago and until now it's been perfect , is it starting to die on me ?

Blimey lol I have no other DP Cables , and I'm not gonna buy another one , maybe just let it die...and see from there

Not sure what power supply I would swap it out for ?...and depends how much they are too...as I only paid around £350 for the monitor

Oh god, the more I read on this the more I'm thinking to just dump the monitor lol

ASUS want £45 for a new power supply from themselves

Yeah I wont be buying anymore monitors from them either , next time I'll be going to Dell I think , have to say though I've never thought the picture quality or sharpnish ?...was anything to shout about , in fact it's about the same-ish as my 34" that sits next to it , and I cant really dump the monitor as I dont have another to put in it's place .

OK so I looked at the monitor last night an it's a January 2015 model , so I'm asking if those early ones had issues ?..is it still worth getting a 3rd party power brick ?

Yeah , and to be honest I'm still kind of in two minds about it Rroff, as on the monitor itself as a white patch ( about the size of my thumb nail ) can appear about 2" in from the bottom right hand corner, but its not there all the time , just sometimes .

LOL..the wife doesnt want me to buy an adapter unless its a " proper" one lol

Have just found out that where I was just about to buy a power adapter from is a scam setup, they claim to be in the UK but are in the United States in Austin Texas.

we sussed them out because they said meter and not metre . lol
