I started my computer this morning and noticed high temps straight away of 60 degrees compaired to the normal startup temp of 28 - 30. I know it warm today but that's just silly. Anyway I have taken the side off and the pump just shake now and again but doesn't spin. It worked fine yest and for the 14 months it has been in there.

I have taken it apart and tried it again and no luck.

I have a feelin it had burnt out or something. Does anyone have any experience with this at all. The pump model is MCP355 and was part of a CPU only loop with a SR1 360. power supply is a corsair hx 1000. (have tested on another PSU too)

Any help would be great

MCP355 have a high failure rate when used in low restriction loops such as CPU only with a single rad, so it sounds like it has coughed it. You could replace the PCB on it if you are competent at soldering, and I would stick a heatsink on it if you choose that approach.
