will this fit snugly on a cpu without the IHS using the standard amd retention bracket, or do i need to remove the bracket in order to get a good contact?
i had a check and the contact seemed pretty good, the thermal paste was all spread out nicely, so i might just leave the bracket on - unless there is a very good reason to remove it - i just don't want to crush ye ol' core!
