The GPU blocks look to be Swiftech MCW60's. Anyone have any recommendations of alternate blocks/higher performing blocks?

Yup Danger Den all the way. There is one review on the net (there's a company that got an exclusive review in the uk - can't post a link they are a competitor) and temps were halved over air cooling. I'm using one on my 7950 and it's stonking..the best temps from any block I've seen. You'll be able to overclock the hell out of it.

Do a google search for Danger Den 7950.

Yeah I seen them but I dont want the full block, thx anyway.

I ordered the spacer kit so I could fit two smaller (but less restrictive imo) blocks such as the MCW60, I just wondered if there were any other recommendations on GPU blocks.

AquaXtreme MP-1 would fit if you need a cheap block that performs as well as the all rest (Swiftech/Maze4). You'd need to shorten the screw bars though I would have thought.

maze 4 slim line blocks surely?

Are they that much better than the mpw60's m8? Link to a comparison?

The fact that I would have to buy four angle joints to fit the MP-1, negating the cost difference and that UK sourcing of that block is dire puts me off. Thx anyway.

Maze 4's are generally regarded as one of the best non full cover blocks. think there's prob more maze 4 gpu blocks in the world than any other block lol.

They do a slimline version which is what you;d need. A normal size one might not fit, as with the MP-1
