Whilst duel priming my opteron 165's my swiftech Apex system is getting very warm to touch with some big heat coming from my rad.

Im just wondering what I can do to disp[ell the heat better. At the moment it has 2 x 120mm fans blowing through the rad, it 'looks' like its possible to have 2 more 120mm fans on the other side sucking the air out. Do you think this would be helpful or more of a hindrance? Has anyone tried it ?

If thats a silly idea .. lol , then would upgrading the fans be of any use or are the standard ones very good. What are the best 120mm fans out there ?

Cheers

Your right they are sucking, why is that ? Would 2 more blowing air through not help ?

Regarding 120mm fans, Ive seen some NMB-MAT fans which come in 4pin or 3pin. I wanted 4 pin but Its says 4pin is 7v rather than the 12v I want. Does that mean that 3pin is 12v ? Can you make the 4pin take 12v ?

I cant give you any temps for my water system Im afraid, it just gets very warm to touch, whether its the rad, tubing res etc. My cpu temps depend on my voltages, I know there not too high i.e >55deg but I know its failing prime due to temps.

When I get to 2.9Ghz Its randomly failing prime any time between 5-8 hours with any voltages from 1.4v upto 1.475v and temps getting upto 47 deg. With the warmer weather this week its been failing sooner. As its a CCB1E 0608 stepping they are notoriously hot and I just want to try to shave a few degress of if I can. Everyone else with this stepping is getting 3Ghz with around 1.4v on water.Apparantly they like to be kept under 40deg.
