I haven't watercooled for years, the last time I tried it I built my own, made my own res etc, one thing that annoyed me is that I kept having to fill up my res, do you still need to do this with these kits, I think I had to refill a lot becase my res wasnt fully sealed, so just wondering how often with the above kit you would need to top up the water ?

Swiftech watercooling vs the top end air coolers, is there much difference in temps ?

Just trying to decide if its worth going for for my next build.

I've just installed that exact kit. I've not had it long enough to comment on refilling although it is a completely sealed system so it shouldn't be necessary. But regarding performance it is definitely better than high end air. A little hard for me to give exact figures because I had a Thermalright XP-120 but with a very slow spinning fan before. It was good but under load temps got over 60 (dual core overclocked Opty). With the Apex they are around 40 under load.
