gunna get myself one of these.but the only thing is people say you have to drill out the holes on the cpu block. now do i have to do this. also *** sort of temps can i expect to see on a 3800+x2 @2.5ghz. my freezer 64 cools it idle at 24oc and full load about 40oc will i see a difference in temps??

drill holes on the cpu block???, think about it , it'll leak al over your comp.

you need to reseach watercooling before you decide.

you will notice load temps mainly.
 
no i have heard people talking the holes being the wrong size or something and by the way i have researched watercooling.
 
I had to and know of a few others that had to make the holes larger on the block but I also know of some that didn’t need to. Its not had just needed to be made a mm or two bigger. ;)

ah, you talking about the bracket on block,
cant say i heard of anyone drilliing the holes to make screws fit, i guess it does happen.
blocks i have fitted straight in.
when you get the kit , check the holes for correct fitness.
