Just wondering if this will be compatible with this socket? I know there is the hold down plate for the x58 i7 but not sure what the score is with the p55 motherboards?

Also some 1156 boards are going to come out with socket 775 mounting holdes as such you should be able to mount any soccket 775 cooler/waterblock onto these boards.

Have a look at andtech a few weeks back, I think an evga and ans asrock board had them.

Swiftech may release a hold-down but I wouldn't hold my breath for stock in the UK.
